I have a 1994 34' diesel pusher with a 12 valve cummins and an Allison 6 speed I'm thinking about selling. It needs a little work but mechanically it's in good shape. It pulls 6k pounds like it's not even there.

Got price, pics, location and what does it need?

That's not correct!!
They gave ya 1970's info, arkansas has no overall length limit for non commercial

There is a regulation that says double trailers can only be 28 ft each, but that applies commercial

*****EDIT*****

My friend that's with the Arkansas Highway Patrol (DOT) just called me back after I posted

He affirmed the no length for non commercial as correct

Welcome to Arkansas!!!!

Oh, and pulling 4-5K lbs at 70mph it averages 10- 10.5 mpg over a 5k mile round trip to Sturgis SD

It may take a day or two but I will start a for sale thread with pics and all info.

Are all these sites wrong also? I tow over length. I know the risk. The fines are steep and I find it an acceptable risk.

But, for you to think that you can tow any length in Arkansas, just because you are not commercial is not correct. Can you point me to a reference that says your 80 feet is acceptable.

Another Hardline re-rail!.

John is ALWAYS right!! (and I mean that in all sincerity)

However, in Ty's defense, I called Ark. DOT October last year and they told me the same thing.

The reason I called is because I actually looked up the statute on the issue and it was INDECIPHERABLE!!

I hate bureaucrats!

I spoke with an officer of 28 years ( who deals with commercial and large vehicle )

And he said all those links have the WRONG info concerning Arkansas. I have no clue about the rest of the states , just mine

Thanks Mesko. :D

But John G. Is usually almost ALWAYS right, I agree on that point totally :)

I am thinking about purchasing a roll back to haul rockwell crawler @ 5000 lbs and towing a bumper pull. Any notable issues with the weight, height over single axle like that. Truck is an F350 single cab 2wld 7.3l, 4sp w/ od. Also posted in the What Do You Do, all the things I do for a buck, will add this to the mix. Also grew up with class C motor homes, don't even think about that with a gas burner.

I just bought a 31 foot class A motor home after looking at probably 50 different ones. Look at them all closely and be sure to spend some serious time checking them out. I looked at a bunch of junk before getting lucky with this find. I flew to Florida to meet the owners who spent a long time going over every aspect of the motor home with me while I video taped their demonstrations in case I for got anything. After paying them for the coach, I drove it seven hours home without any trouble. We have already been all over north GA with it and will be taking it to RBD. I love this thing, but will still probably up grade to a 40 foot pusher after the kids get out of college.

Almost all diesel pushers are going to have allison trans, the 6speed would be much preferred.
