Option on H2 wheels

Mr. Hogg said:
I actually think that the ballistic ones are in intervals of seven because the original ballistic h2 beadlock kit had a 3 piece inner ring, which was prone to failure, hence why they no longer make / sell that kit.
The Ballistic rings on your H2s are 21 bolt and designed for those rims. I wouldn't just straight up copy the current Ballistic kit, as they won't work as well for H2s.

I realize this thread addresses beadlocks, but have a ? on machining H2 centers for chevy D60/14. I don't have my hubs yet, but my tooling guy has time to machine them for me. Does anyone have the center I.D. that these need to be machined too?

While most of my projects are done in this manner, I figured with wheels being hubcentric, I'd just allow my tooling guy to make them perfect for me.

If you have the resources I say go for it. I was actually pleases with my grinder results. A 4.5 wheel fits nicely in the center, a few spins, lots of grind, check, grind, and I had a nice snug fit.

Best pic I could find.

Do you know if that's chevy for sure in that pic? There's an article about modifying wheels for 3rd gen dodge that says to open up to 4.774" ID....just wasn't sure if the Dodge and Chevy were the same size...

Thanks for the info...

I'm getting H2's for 200 or so for 5

router with a flush bit and about 20 seconds a rim once set up and they are good to go

innerairlocks - still alive and well

so for 7-800 you've got double beadlocked aluminum rims

then to protect the valve stem there are flush mount stems from gorilla I think - they are awesome - buy two packs

Re: Re: Option on H2 wheels

We used a plasma on my centers,.. who else is running air beadlocks, how low are u able to run ur tires??, I'm running 8 psi and rarely lose a bead, but ive read of the lips breaking with the inner air locks. Truth

Re: Re: Option on H2 wheels

I ran inner air locks. Worked great for me, 2 psi in the tire, and 30psi in the tube.

I'm planning to run them again on my new rig, which will be running stock F350 17" wheels
