Unbreakable 7/8 heim

Are y'all saying you've seen the 3/4's break on the uppers, or just in general? Uppers usually hold up unless you break a lower link or something else major, or at least that's been my experience. I would think a good 7/8" would be alright but the price difference might not be much more for an 1 1/4", You never regret going over board after its done

I've run a 3/4 x 7/8 " heim for years on a rockwelled buggy on 49's with no issues

I got a mix of qa1 and Midwest 7/8x3/4 heims for my rig. Really hoping I have the same results.

Re:

I think one would be hard pressed to break them on uppers. I ran then upper and lower on my last rig with no issues and i was not easy on it. I'm reusing some of them for steering on my new rig.

I ran them in the uppers on my U4 car. I never broke one but they wore out ridiculously fast. They are in the uppers of my Jim's Garage buggy and they wear out as well. The 1-1/4" seem to last much longer.

Jut waiting on a sale from ruff stuff. $69 for a comets set of 7/8, $129 for 1.25 So an extra $240 to go with all 1.25 still trying to decide.

On a Rockwell truck you got a lot of axle swinging from them joints. The smaller ones will wear out faster and get clunky and loose.

if the 1.25 last 2x longer, it would be worth it. (realistically they will probably last 3-4x longer...)

I had two 3/4s break at the same time going up the creek at holly
Then a 3rd broke when we were taking the link off, fun day
Luckily yotakrawler had some in his toolbox
I have all new 7/8s for uppers and 1.25s for lowers
