Well on a trip to Walmart I spotted a toy I loved from my childhood, the Power Wheels CJ. Those of us from the 80's got loads of fun crawling across the yard to our mother's terror and our father's what was he thinking I just pulled him from that ditch two minutes ago. Some of us maybe are still doing the same thing today.....

Well my two year old got his first set of wheel today and here it is

Run a motor cycle battery and it will do doughnuts in the drive way. :dblthumb:
Really? How does if effect the life span of the electric motor?

Thanks guys he loves it and we start em young here both my children ages five and two love crawling and crawlers. My son knows "roll coal" and likes a one ton or larger dually like his father.

I put one in my daughters and she out grew it before the motor ever gave up. It's funny how fast they'll go with one. It would lose traction going up the drive way and start fish tailing.

Did your daughter's have the traction bands? Never seen these before so they should be interesting.....

Re: Re: My son's first Jeep

i ran two motorcyle batteries in my little girls peg pergo gator and she switched to a go kart at christmas and no issues with motor, wore the tires out and broke two accelerator switches but otherwise fine, three years or so with last summer being a rough one on it!!

scared to death!!!!!

I saw them at WalMart and thought about picking one up just for the grill, hood, and cowl. Been wanting to make my boy a mini-rock buggy out of go-cart parts and 4 back tahrs off a lawn mower. Use old long travel Rancho shocks painted silver to look like Fox shocks, don't think he can collapse them at 35 lbs. Anyone have one to donate? Barbie pink is fine, it'll get wrapped anyways. :driving:

Try CL

My son had the Hummer version, he absolutely loved it! I'd ride along beside him and pit him out with my bike, he seemed to enjoy that more than any toy he ever had. That's awesome, I hope your boy drives the tires off! :driving:

I got a gravel driveway and my 3 yr old is getting tired of his cause it keeps getting stuck. I bet Pneumatic tires, would make a huge difference. What do you have to get to make those work?

Haha. Yall are killin me!! Only hardline can i find mods for a Barbie Jeep!! :woot: I have a five-month-old, and I can't wait for her to be my new "lil helper". Sadly my 14yr old that used to Hand me tools and get dirty with daddy workin as a kid has moved onto competition dance team. :dunno: A lot of that has to do with my lovely ex-wife :flipgotcha: ! seems like it was yesterday she had the Barbie Beach patrol trying to climb hills. And yes I did watch her completely flipped backwards once. Holy heart attack Batman! She did wear the wheels off of it, The moment she found out that she could get going down a steep drive way fast and let off tha gas to make it slide sideways back and forth them Tires never stood a chance... Enjoy those memories, seems like you blink and they are gone... Already have plans for a little mini Rockcrawler for the new baby. I have a feeling she's going to be daddy's little helper too! Cant wait. And I have to ask, did the light bar come with the razor or was that a custom job by you?? Badass!!

My lil boy turned 2 in sept. This one is a lil big for him but he loves it. Find an old tire inner tube and cut rings out of it and wrap around thewheels. They will last much longer
