Anybody know ole corky from Coker tire?

Saw him on a show I like called flippin RVs last week. Show about vintage RV restoration. They visited Coker tire on their way to deliver a polished vintage mansion to a customer. Ole corky had quite the classic collection. Seemed like a nice guy.

Don't know him personally, but I have seen some of the collection. They had a show on tv for bit, discovery or history, something like that. Showed the up keep and that kinda thing on the collection, was pretty cool. They built some pretty wicked looking hot rods as well that I've seen on the interwebs

I went there a couple years ago, looked around the showroom, bought a shirt, mentioned I had a '64 F-100. Dude said, "Well, you'll love Corky's F-1!" Took me to the shop, showed me Corky's F-1 that he's always driving on tv, stopped and talked to Corky, took pictures with him like a Japanese tourist, then took me to the warehouse... HOLY JESUS. Holy grail of concourse restored turn of the century cars all the way up to 60's muscle. Answered every question I had, told me about every piece in the place, toured me through Honest Charley's (what little is there), took like an hour! The people at Coker are the bomb, can't wait to go back!

Cool to hear. He seemed like a cool guy. Reminded me of a southern jay Leno. He was so interested in the history of what he owned rather than just what he could sell it for.

On the show he had a true fully original 1937 masterbilt camper. Never restored and had an original picture/ family photo of the first family to own it. Just a still moment pulled back in time. Super cool

Like I said pretty cool. He seemed like a solid dude. I didn't know he had such a collection. Always great to see people appreciate history.

AWD 66' Impala..... That's pretty sweet. An escalade 6.0 with a viscous coupling?

Hey Rokcrler we are headding up early. We are meeting at the Pinson Mickey D's . Silver AWD 66 Impala, 66 GTO sitting on a 2004 GTO chassis, 72 Vista Crusier wagon if you want to jump in line and cruse.

Corky has some of the coolest, most rare ish I've ever seen. His private museum is unreal.

Looking forward to running into you fellas...Ill be the good-lookin, southern gentleman, probably wearing sunglasses and pants.

This was a great show. They said there would be 1000 cars but it looked more like 1500. We took our All Wheel Drive 66 Impala
