First off i was wanting to get a set of rcv drive flanges for my 93 fj80 front axle but the hub is notched out in 4 of the places matching the factory drive flanges and were the added dowell pins will go. Is there any hub that will work on the 80 front that will let you drill the other 4 out, like a fj60 or mini truck hubs. Second is there any company that makes a cover/ armor for the 9.5 ff rear ends or a 9.5 in general i know they make the bolt on ones for the semifloat, but i cannot find anything for the 9.5s with the non removable cover any leads or help will and is greatly appreciated thanks

Any pics? I ran the fj80 axles, they had all stock components. I had issues with the rear full float shafts getting loose and actually had one start coming out on the trail. I drilled it for larger studs and added some dowels. I didn't have to do anything with the fronts that i remember.

First to are the 80 hub last is mini and I gotta pull the rotor but look a lot different height wiase as to were the rotor mount as well

im almost positive that the 80 series hubs dont interchange with the mini truck/40/60 style hubs. iron pig offroad and blue torch fab make aftermarket bolt on covers but as for the ones that dont have a bolt on cover... you have to make one. Nobody ive ever found makes weld on armor for the 9.5.

80-series hubs are not interchangeable with any other hub, and that SUCKS! Been wheeling only 80's the whole time, so I get the plight. Just use ARP hub studs, and make sure you tighten the nuts every time out. Also ensure the 17mm trunion nuts on the bottom are also tight...
Why do you need a dif tampon for the rear full-float? The Semi-float only accidentally has one because the front FJ40 and FJ60 uses the 9.5" dif up front...

ARP hub studs from Front Range Offroad are awesome. Never let me down.

You can also increase the size of the studs with a drill and tap. Not sure how big you can go, but I believe there is a thread in here about it.

Not been on the market long, but look like a solid product. RuffStuff makes good products.

That looks good I actuallys poker with Dan maybe 2-3 weeks ago about making a coverand d he said they had one coming out for the mini that may fit just to check back in a few weeks but for 33 dollars I give it a shot and report back

X3 on arp stud the stock hubs and rock out! I ran 39" krawlers and only broke a rear FF shaft. FJ80 parts are tough!
