Curious to see if you guys know of anyone making stronger wheels than what I have. I'm running MRW extreme duty double beadlocks and I have just bent the center section on one of my rims....it's made from half inch thick steel.

I got half inch centers now....but they are 20" rims so I guess the extra diameter doesn't help.

So I'm going to with put gussets in the rim or go to 3/4 centers I guess :dunno:

1/2" thick of what steel? A36? grade 50? grade 80? domex? I mean you don't always have to throw thickness at a bending problem. As long as it is weldable to the wheel shell without brittleness you can go up in material grade

That's tru. I have no idea what grade. Gonna make a call to MRW

Let me see if I can dig up the site for the guys down south doing the mud truck stuff. Them dam trees just pop up outta no where don't they :flipoff1: kinda like those wash outs molaugh
