So, I'm bored at work and decided to share this build. My dad bought me this when I was 17 and in high school. It had a few bolt ons, besides that it was completely stock. Over the years when I have had the time/money, I would put it towards this car. It's been a long build, but it's getting closer. The best part is my dad hasn't seen the car in awhile. He still thinks its stock and just sitting in the garage. He's going to be in for a surprise.

buddy in HS had a white one, built a 347 for it and got it in out senior year. First car I rode in that would pull the front tires.

I think I'm going to put a manual valve body C4 with a transbrake in it. Because, I'll have it at the track more than on the street.

If you need rear suspension parts (control arms) let me know. We have a small line of chassis and suspension parts for late model mustang stuff. We can also do custom control arms, so if you want to do rear sway bar delete etc. We can switch fixtures on the fly.

Nice setup love the fox body have had few. Here Is my hs ride.

Nice fox, i gave up drag racing for Rock crawling, sometimes I miss side stepping the clutch at 6500 rpms on a 150 shot and looking at the sky.

Haha, thanks buddy. Besides, what you see; it just has a decent cam. I'm making up for the lack of hp by stripping weight and gearing. We'll see how long it last on 175 shot, then a 408 is going in.

When you decide your ready to go real fast, remove all that stuff and go LS and powerglide! :stir:

Haha, I have 6.0 in my jeep, but the mustang will always have a ford motor.

All joking aside, if you haven't got a transmission yet, I would really lean towards a powerglide, they work so good! I have took 3 speeds out and put glides in different cars over the years, and it always picked them up! and they are tough as nails! I had one that had all stock guts with just a transbrake that lasted 3 years behind a car running 5.50's
