• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Trail gear 4.7 kit

I think your problem will continue until you gear your axles better. 4.10s is sending a lot of stress up your drive lines into your cases.

Dual Toy cases with 4:7 in rear, 21 Spline first case to 23 Spline trail gear rear case, Longfield Chromoly rear output shaft, Marlin Crawler 30 Spine front output shaft.

Busted gear set in mine also. Took kind of a shock load. Was in high in front case and low in rear.

So my only question is were any of you just crawling in double low with stickies, super slow speed but just bound up a little ??

Yes... but

it had survived a couple f&r ring gear failures, a rear axle housing taco, broken 30 spl long, etc...

2 broken rear inputs (front in low rear in high)
1 gear set crawling
Both cars at the same time crawling, bound up, low low, broken dshaft joint..

Damn I'm right on stuff.

No more issues on dual stock gears, running 4.88 and big block Toyota

WE desperately need to go riding... I want to see this!!!

ah hell I was joking. I wouldn't spend that on a 22re! Hell I won't even work on mine

and no idea what mo was running in whitey. :****:

Well from the sound of things, I will be next. Just mounted some new 39 reds. Have not run it yet and I am very mild on parts, I will report back when I have a failure

just an 22re with a rollover button
That's harsh!
No idea on the engine as I got it from a buddy, but ole whitey will fly now.

yeah I hear ya, I have a couple tricks done to my re but nothing major. if I can get some axles to hold up long enough I'm going to put a fun button with a little shot of nitrous

I was thinking of going 5.29 in the ring&pinion and running 228 in both cases. I feel like the stock gears are stronger than TG. I have buddies running 43 stickies with 228/228 and not broke anything yet. Or just put an automatic in it. Trying to have a crawl ratio still.
