I'm wanting to add turn signals and brake/tail lights to my rig. What's out there that you seen done? Any all in one led bars for the back?
Just really want to see what others have done first, and maybe learn from others mistakes.

Any that I've put together I used the flush mount lights like on trailers, just cut some holes in a panel.

The little button size super bright LEDs would be really easy to use also. "Eagle eyes " are the ones I've got off eBay. Used amber ones for turn signals a few times but you can get them in red also

Brake light switch circuits are stupid easy. And you could use toggle switches for blinkers and just run old school gm flasher

We used a bar from here for the U4 car... Simple and good warranty.

Not the best pic but you get the idea.

I was a tribal whips dealer and they offered a all in one light bar that was neat. Price was pretty cheap.

Well that doesn't do us a lot of good now does it?
Can't even get my whip game up anymore ...

so i take it you didn't close the ad video? If you would have, then you would have seen their store with all the light bars... i'll give you a pass since you're going through withdrawls.

I pieced together brake lights and blinkers
LED lights front and rear
I used a blinker switch from amazon and an LED flasher relay
pretty simple to wire up

my only complaint is that they don't turn off automatically and the indicator light on the blinker switch doesn't work with LED's plus it's too loud in a buggy to hear the flasher relay to know they are still on. I'm going to wire in some small LED's as indicators.

Re:

It's not the running them...it's the bouncing/vibrations.
I was going to use them on my trailer then noticed individual led's failing

you need a blinker switch

there is no way to wire the lights to do both brakes and turn without it that I could figure it out
unless you run 2 separate lights

Dual filament bulb. Have the brake switch feed power to one side and the blinker the other. Ground at all times. Run a old school gm flasher to a toggle switch. Want a blinker turn the corresponding toggle switch on. For a running light you would have to use a separate bulb

There are several ways to do this. I have had individual lights and just two trailer lights. The light bar may work, but as had been stated there's a good chance of led failures.

You can build your own controller with a couple relays or purchase a 3 to 2 wire converter for wiring trailer lights, had one like in this picture on a Toyota. But it's not difficult to build your own since you'll likely be using a few relays on the project anyway.
