cutting rear fender on a runner

So what have some of you done to cut out the rear fenders on the 4 runner? The way the wheel well is it doesnt give you much to cut .Post some pics up of what you have done to give me an idear to what i will do.Thanks.

Im talking about trimming them not cutting the whole back off.

there aint much to cut off. I did one on a buddies truck and basically tubbed it. Cut the whole inner fender out and move it in...then fill the gaps.

You may have to go to a six roblees or something similar and get some trailor fenders, or a tubbing kit........as soon as you can see daylight, your gonna choke on fumes.....that sucks

What vintage 4runner. Was just wheelin' with a guy on 40s/soa/sas in a late model. If yours is late model, I can email him for a pic.... but if it's not, no sense buggin' him.

Hey, no BS, remember?!?:flipoff:

Brian, if it was mine, I'd remove the side bumpers, then take a straight edge and go from the top edge of the wheel well where it flattens out and then taper the line to about 2" or so downward on the front and rear. You'd hit you side bumpers if you didn't take them out, that's why I recommend that.
