What do we do when your fornt axle ear u-joint holes gets egg shaped? When the u-joint caps become loose and spin in the axles? Sometimes we weld them in and that will ruin an expensive axle. We decided to make oversized caps for the Dana 44 & Dana 60s for our u-joints. We splined them .0005 th oversized like a windshield wiper post. When you press the caps in they will dig into the axle holes and take up the gap for a tighter fit. This way you can get a lot more life out of your axle shafts.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Will they fit into unmolested ears? Will they remove the need to weld them in? Can they be taken back out with the old hammer and vice trick, or do you need a press (which I have, but it's an extra PITA)?

And uh, how much for 297/760 ones? Errr, crud, you don't make them for 297/760's, just for your own joints? :booo:

I have a few questions. Will these work on any 44 or 60 axle? And is it .005 or .0005 over sized from stock?
