Well it rolled out of the shop this last Friday at 5:30 We had alittle fuel pump issue but it should be good to go now. I still have a few little things to button up but id say its 98% done. I will post up some build pics soon when i get a chance.
Yep still at it! He just does everything by himself but he has a full shop! Last time i was home and there he had 3 buggies in the shop and a spec class trophy truck. He also has got into baja racing and has been picking up old baja races and fixing them up and racing them.
Well it has been years since i have posted on here but since we are trying to get this back up and going i thought i would post up what i have been up to. I decided about 3yrs ago to step up my buggy game and replace my old small buggy with a larger V8 powered dana 60 rear steer buggy. I had...
Who should i contact to get a 35 spline custom length inner 60 shaft. I would like to help out a supporter of the forum so if you know someone or you do it shoot me a phone number! It can be a stock resplined one to nothing fancy! Thanks Garrett
im a husqvarna dealer and see many saws come into my shop. It usually doesnt matter the brand but more the up keep. Saws are a dirty tool and you have to clean them and they will be your best friend. I have a old 70's poulan 5300 countervibe with a 28in bar and a old jonsered with a 28in bar and...
Bumpers looking great! If thats a 660 make sure you clean clean clean the airfilter and keep the oil checked many of them seem to use a little oil. Alot of them are getting run to long and dusting the engines or running low on oil. I had my rhino break a oil pump shaft and after it ruined the...
Im trying to help a buddy out with his 89 wrangler with a258 and a 2100 swap. A buddy of his did it for him and never finished it. I have found many diagrams online about which lines you need and where to run them. But nothing about all the emissions crap on the valve cover and what needs to be...
Your correct it is a th350. The case is almost flat and the adapter is just a stock chevy adapter i think i got it off a 90's blazer with a 700r4 to a 208. You just have to notch one hole and buy the stub shaft from advanced and your done. Cost me just alittle over $100. As far as the driveline...
Here is alittle thing i learned from a buddy racer. I hate when you spend so much time painting or powder coating just to have it messed up by a hose clamp that is holding on shock reservoirs or spare parts other misc things. I take pieces of heat shrink and slide them over the clamps and use my...
I got some things done in the last couple of days. Tire mount built out of .120 wall chromoly and some 5/8 hiems ends i had laying around. Just been slowly putting things back on such as coilovers, battery, radiator, drivelines, and much much more.
This is going to be the new location of the spare tire. I need to get some weight further over the rear end to balance it out and make it not so nose heavy. I hope to build the spare tire mount this week.
Worked on the buggy all weekend. Axles are under and sitting on the bump stops. The new Ballistic Fab battery bracket looks great and fit awesome. Got the new 37 iroks put on for snow wheeling instead of the sticky krawlers. I also put in a 5 gal fuel cell for local wheeling to give me more for...
o yes respirators were used. I grabbed a couple from work!!! Need to buy 3 more cans to finish it off! The stuff does dry fast but i also had the wood stove cranking and it was up to 78 degrees in the garage!
Thanks guys! Spent the night filling my garage with paint spray. Been using self etching primer and seems to work great. Should be able to get the rest primered tomorrow and at least one good coat of paint on it. Should be rolling the axles under by the weekend at least get the links and...
