Naches Run The wagon trail opens next week so time to plan a trip. I have some Seattle Cruiser Heads coming who want a mild trip (posted on iH8mud). I am thinking to start with the mild stuff then hit the hard stuff last for whom ever wants to run it. I like Saturdays best, but Sundays work too...

I drove up Sunday to check out the conditions. I ended up pulling out a pickup from the entrance parking lot that was stuck in the snow. :) Drove up the access road towards the campground. At the turn off for the campground there was between 12"-24" of icy snow. Very slippery and easy to get...

The Forest Service site lists the campground as open. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/mbs/recarea/?recid=18094 Has anyone been up to check it out yet?

My proposed Evans Creek trip is off since the road isn't open yet. Walker anyone? 10 am at the staging area. An earlier start is OK if everyone agrees.
