That is a 400/203 adapter in your pic and will not work for a 205. @Nathan08 fyi, there are 2 versions of GM 400/205 combos - 1 with a figure 8 bolt pattern on the 205 (up to '84), the other has a round pattern on the 205 ('85+), each uses a different adapter and trans tailshaft.

Not quite 14k but I have a 12k. I’ve got an 18’ (16+2) ‘06 Big Tex “12 ET” 12k trailer and love it. Mine is a typical bumper pull, low deck with fenders and weighs about 2600 lbs. empty.
