Are there suspension limitations in stock class? It sounds like if you cut off the stock brackets and weld on new ones anywhere then it's considered a modified frame and it must run in modified stock. Correct?

    Built D300 vs Atlas

Its good to hear from guys running 6.17s and 7.17s with luck. I know the pinion heads get much smaller but it's hard to beat the gearing. What about clearance issues running the 300 behind a v8? What's trans are you two running porter?

    Built D300 vs Atlas

Hey maverick do you have pics of a 6.17 or 7.17 gear set vs 5.13s or 4.10s?

    Built D300 vs Atlas

I am in the process of putting a np435/d300 combo in my TJ. I wanted front digs and a stronger setup (gears vs chains, stronger case, etc). The nice thing about a 300 is you can upgrade as you go, instead of dropping 2k on a Atlas all at once. For some people that's not a problem. After looking...

    Radial Rocker vs Blue-label Krawler?

I run blue 35 krawlers, love them. Only thing I'd change is going to a 15x8 beadlock instead of my 15x10. These hook up better than any other tire I've run.

02 Xterra SAS plans, input welcome

Waggy/8.8 combo isn't bad but the bolt pattern issue comes up. Waggy/Taco rear wouldn't be too bad but I would say stick with your stock rear end. I think a waggy/h223 would be good to 35s in stock form and 37s with some bling. I've only seen a few xterras with a SAS and 35s or 37s so make sure...

    Stokes flavored CJ build

From what I've read the hybrids do very well. You can run them with or without the springs, which is nice for adjust-ability. Check out pirate for a lot more tech on them, there's a few threads on the pros/cons.

Likewise and your rig is a beast! I'm making it a priority to wheel with you guys again when I come back :awesomework: So I heard :D Both of those bigger rigs were awesome to watch, there's just too many logs in there from people stacking and they end up causing more damage to rigs that...

Yep, looking at a stock ZJ unit, they're supposed to be much beefier. Good to hear it, I've rebuilt a 22R and it's easy but still sucks...although if I had to do it again I would have just tossed in a SBC. Glad to meet you and the other WTF members there! I'll have to come out on a Saturday...
