Throwing in the towel - my MarsFab buggy build

It’s actually not bad to access. You can reach between the seats, unlatch and flip the lid up easily and it’s far enough back that you’ll never hit your elbow on it seated

Throwing in the towel - my MarsFab buggy build

I wish this could be narrower. The Toyota transfer case is tall and the output flanges is up high. I literally have the sides of the seats within a half inch of touching the case. The bottom of the case sits almost on the floor of the belly and the seats still sit over 10” off the floor...

At the base of the seats it’s 49.5” and at the shoulders it’s 53.5” That’s measured between the B-post

Do we have a welding thread on here?

Part of setting up a machine correctly is having the wiring and power supply correct for the machine. To truly get consistency in your welds and not end up with good days and bad days as often this is critical. If a guy doesn't use the same settings every time he welds the same type joint and...

Do we have a welding thread on here?

Thank you. I've worked long and hard to get that caliber of weld. Every one of those MIG welds was made with .030 er70s wire. I'm actually wanting to invest in a small 110v machine like a mm140 or comparable. I'd like to set it up with .024 wire and use it strictly for tube work. I've played...

Do we have a welding thread on here?

The MIG welding was done with my millermatic dvi or millermatic 212 and the TIG stuff was done with either a Hobart TIGWave, Miller econoTIG or Thermal arc 186 AC/DC.
