I have a dana 44 center section that I need to retube. I need the existing tubes machined out of the diff (cut off tubes) and then the new tubes pressed/welded in the center and the new inner Cs pressedwelded on the tubes. I am going to be using a Jk dana 44 center, dynatrac Cs, and 3"x.5"...

I want to make a tie rod out of solid t-6 7075 aluminum. I basically just need the ends drilled out and tapped. Does anybody do machine work on the side or can recommend a shop on the east side?

Thanks for the tips! I'll definately clean the metal first and give that a go. I was trying some different settings on the welder and I wasn't getting as nice of a crackle when the wire speed was low. THe settings for those welds were wire speed between 4-5 (out of 10) and the the power was...
