IIRC there were "tank trap" type of obstacles at the ends of the trails where they met the forest service roads. Sadie Creek is not blocked. There is a gatekeeper set up at the road but that is easily passable. I ran that trail last weekend.

You are surprised? I went up there once with some of the locals....there were tell tale signs that we were not suppose to be there. :looser:Those tank traps at the head of the "trail" were not just the first obstacle. Since then I drive right on by and head to Sadie Creek, or the other way to...

. The trail that used to go straight,(the original trail) after the first steep hill descent, is blocked off. At this point you cross the haul out road. The rest of the rest of the trail is intact....just no more trees:booo:

Yeah, pretty lame....only hope is that with all the exposed ground now it may get rutted up a bit.:corn:

First run there since logging completed. The trail now crosses the haul out road a few times and a lot of the trees that made it somewhat challenging are gone:booo: Couple pics of the "gatekeeper" and the clearcut you now drive through.

Forks Just got back from Forks...shot a 5x5 bull on the Goodman mainline last night, loaded it whole this morning. I will get pics after it is hanging. Not impressive, just a little brush rack.
