complete used motor from a rig that a freind wrecked, i dont know if it had this problem in the other rig. the new rig is actually a 89 or 90 and when we swaped the motor in from the 92 the wiring plugs didnt match so i swapped in all the wiring out of the 92 except the peice that goes from...

i will have to try that, we havent really ran it that much since the swap so it possible to have a bubble, the idle doesnt surge though

so im workin on my buddys 92 4runner 3.0 that takes a few times to get fired up when its cold and when it finally starts it runs rough for a few minutes then it smooths out and runs good. cold start checks out good just did a tune up never did this till we swapped in a new motor any sugestions?

i have heard its possible to put hours in just from wheelin, since your "Educating" your passengers. Is this true?

that is a awesome idea!!! if it gets done enough it might make theives think twice about messing with a rig that is stuck on a trail. wouldnt hurt to have some one sitting in the bushes with a shot gun watching said "bait rig":haha: :awesomework:

i figured it out, the distributor was a tooth retarded, this thing frikin rips now, i left a trail of tire smoke all the way around the block!!

so i checked the fuel pressure and that is good, still runs like $h!t, some one said computer or distributor. it kinda acts like the timing is retarded, the header is getting real hot real fast.....i just want to kick the jeep in the nuts.

not planning on wheelin this one!!! It idles smooth and runs ok, but yeah, acts like lack of fuel, and it craps out and sputters around 3 grand, and when i try to start it the thing kinda sputters,then if i try again it does the same, after 3 tries it usually fires right up like it is supposed...

i got a 95 jeep cherokee with a 4.0, its a pain in the a$$ to get fired up and it has no power when i hit the gas, i changed the fuel filter and gutted the cat, cap rotor and plugs all look good, anyone got any ideas on what might cause this???

i have never been to where you guys are talking about but this sounds like a good idea, let it become a gate keeper but keep an eye on it and dont let some bunny huggin tree humper use it as an example to shut trails down, i agree with what some one else said, not exact words but pretty close "...
