i accidentally wheeled my truck for the first time with no oil in the rear axle...:mad: I ruined the ring and pinion real quick, BUT upon dis-assembly i found that this is some sort of factory locker? or LSD? Anyone know if this is worth rebuilding/using? I was just going to pick up another axle...
I'm not trying to look like i know everything, i have heard that the death wobble is caused by zero caster, and the addition of big tires and soft spring rates. i am simply trying to figure out what i need to change to make it go away, NOT start an internet battle.
thanks, i think that's what i need to mess with, i think the chev master cyl. has a longer stroke than i anticipated. so i think some changes to the pedal assembly are needed.
my upper and lower ball joints are almost straight up and down. or 0* caster. so i think that is my wobble problem, and...

-Does anyone know the correct approx. caster angle for a d44 full width front?
i think mine doesn't have enough angle cause i get a "death wobble" at about 35 mph.:mad:

jeeez relax there are rubber mounts there, that was just before it was together. haha and yeah i got the "V8" badge from a Sequia at my work. i got started on the fuel lines tonight, hopefully will have it running tomorrow night.:D:D

ok scratch that... I got a toyota radiator from my work today, aswell as a manual transmission pedal assembly, and a new fuel pump. all for a $100.
does anyone have a good suggestion for a cheap way to regulate my fuel pressure at 15 psi? The TBI setup needs 15 psi, i have seen the napa ones...
