there should be a spring loaded button that goes in the end of the pump (drive gear end to cover) that should hold the slack out of it. that much play is normal.

I did pull the cover and the locker looks great. I didnt see any wear on the locker teath. the axle has had water in it so there is rust in there but the locker has none on it.

wut??? no you have that back wards. look at the tq and hp on a Honda . that 200 hp motor isnt going to pull like a 170 hp 6.2 diesel. the tq is what gets you moving and keeping your momentum. try pulling your car trailer with that high hp motor then pull it with a high tq motor and then tell us...

whats the torque that the bus puts out. I think that will better determine how well it pulls. diesels almost always have a low hp rating and a high tq compared to a gas

if you dont let a turbo (diesel or gas) cool down it will bake the oil in the bearings/ bushings pluging the passages. the big rigs leave theres running because cold starts are really hard on the cylinder walls/pistons and rings. I will leave mine running if I am only going to be 10 minuts...

could be pump rub. (for thoes that dont know) the trans fer case pump rubs a hole through the trans fer case (only a pin hole ) and it leaks atf.

you can also dump 1/2 to a full bag of ice in to the toilet befor driving to dump/home the ice acts like bbs and knocks off all the sh*t and helps break all the stuff in there down.
