Start mixing supertech tc-w3 oil with the fuel, get a fuel pressure gauge and big lift pump (talking to your friend). Than you are set and will likely not have to replace either ever again.
Go with a large trans cooler but not too large. Most of your money needs to be spent on Kevlar bands, deep pan, and a very good torque converter. Otherwise, keep it cool and keep your foot out of it.

The hill had no tracks, I don't see a jump. I just don't understand. Did he flop it to screw over the buyer? Did it get hit with a shooting star?

Scalers are less expensive in the overall. Not much to break once most of the plastic is replaced. I am likley going to sell my g500. I have too many of them.

FWIW, I checked the pallets at the shop that we snagged and they are indeed stapled together. Not saying that a staple wont puncture a tire but after a good burning I feel much better inside knowing that the chance of the burn pile ruining...
