So, I have to stretch my alt charge wire to around 6' long. The OEM wire is 8mm and a fuseable link. I'm wondering if I could just splice my 6g wire to the end of the OEM fuseable link to maintain it? Or just run the 6g whole distance?

Question I have is, should I kill switch main battery power on the negative side or positive side?
