LS alt fuseable linky mod.

So, I have to stretch my alt charge wire to around 6' long. The OEM wire is 8mm and a fuseable link. I'm wondering if I could just splice my 6g wire to the end of the OEM fuseable link to maintain it? Or just run the 6g whole distance?

Oops, I misspelled it, should be fusible link.

i just dropped my link out and ran wire the whole way, no issues thus far!!

Wire and a circuit breaker, if a link blows you'll have to wire around it on the trail, if the breaker trips and you fix it, just reset itand rock on.
