I have been running 42" MTR-Ks on my tj for about 3 years and I'm really happy with them. Off road they hook great. I only do a few hundred miles a year on the road but they are wearing good. I did have to bump up from 6-8 to 12psi to keep from cutting/pinching the sidewall.

Is that the front end doing all the popping?

Hands down Arb. Detroit and lunch box can't take the shock load of a shaft breaking like the Arb can. I broke 10+ shafts/u-joints in my front 44 and never had a issue with the Arb. My buddy broke his Detroit both times he broke a shaft. The Arb in my current 60 held up fine to a shaft letting go...
