What temp thermostat? What fan and mounting location? If electric fan, pushing or pulling? Fan shroud??

Define HOT. .... 210* is normal running temp with a 195* stat. !95 is the temp that it opens. 210 is normal running temp, so if it hits 220 or 230 when you're beating on it and then comes back down it's normal. Define hot and we can go from there.

x2 on go to internal hub style. You'll beat your head against the wall forever on external hubs. Any serious wheeling loosens the up. I used to break a bolt or two every ride it seemed. Is it a Dodge 44 or something with external??

I'm adapting a NV 3550 to my crawler with AMC 304 V-8. What clutch slave cylinder will fit the 4.0L TJ bell housing that has a threaded fitting, so that I can continue to use my CJ clutch master cylinder...other than a $156 Advance Adapter one. I prefer off the shelf parts. Anyone else run into...
