loose hubs

Very common problem on external hubs, the best way to solve the problem is to go to internal hubs from a later Dana 44 axle. If that is not in the budget the best thing I have seen done is find a bolt the exact length so it would bottom out the same time it tightens. ( you may have to cut to fit) or you can use studs but the nuts still tend to loosen up just not as often, also using star type lock washers help. If all else fails just set up a socket and extension put it in your center console And check them when you stop.

I have a yoga buggy and mine do the same thing I ordered aftermarket hub studs cleaned the holes really good and put lock ***e on them works now

x2 on go to internal hub style. You'll beat your head against the wall forever on external hubs. Any serious wheeling loosens the up. I used to break a bolt or two every ride it seemed. Is it a Dodge 44 or something with external??

I've got the external hubs on my 60 and had the same problem. Had to go with longer bolts and haven't had an issue since. I think I went from 1" to 1-1/5" bolts. When I put silicone on the flange it gets on the threads and helps too.
