You are starting to make more sense now. Your terminology is a bit confusing, there aren't any one time gears or one ton gears. Axles from one ton vehicles are typically a Dana 60 front axle and a 14 bolt or sterling 10.25 rear not toyota axles. There are different gear ratios for these axles...

Anybody running a spartan locker in a dana 60? I have a detroit in the rear but I would like to try a 35 spline Spartan in the front. Do the pins last? Do the couplers wear fast? Any first hand experience would be helpful. ~Paul

Doug Dye in Federal Way does all this stuff. He has cut and splined 3 sets of axle shafts for me. I am sure he can help you out.

Doug does all my stuff and I would recomend him for everything. I was just there on Friday and he showed me those spindles. He has resplined and shortened both of my axles and housings and I couldn't be happier.
