    KOH 2020

Exactly, we were in a cruise America motor home that is paper thin. A good fart had more heat than that rv. We didn’t bring our good sleeping bags because we weren’t expecting to need them in a RV. Lessons learned. It can get cold quick. We will be much better prepared this year.

    KOH 2020

I’ll be there helping pit for the SXS race and then enjoying the week. We froze last time I went in a RV. The heat couldn’t keep up with 20 something degree temps. Don’t get caught off guard by the warm days without cold weather gear, it can turn cold quick. I’m not a big fan of them but big...

    Looking for my old Buggy

I honestly don't know. I purged everything out of my phone about six months ago. The deal was actually set up by his son, I had very little contact with him but I'm still digging around trying to find contact information. Edit.... I found his screen name on here and emailed him. Hopefully I...

    Looking for my old Buggy

I sold my buggy to a gentleman from Tennessee about two years ago due to paying for my wife's Nurse Practitioner degree. The tables have turned and I would love to be able to find it and buy it back. If anyone knows who has it please send me a message or give them my contact information...

    Tree people

Green Giant Arborvitae Is the way to go for what you want. They are a lot more resistant to disease than Leland Cypresses. You can plant them any time as long as you keep them watered to start off with. 10’ apart is good spacing for a privacy screen. Staggered in and out gives the best results...

    Anyone recognize this number 256-443-0517?

The phone is registered to a 28 year old lady in Florence. It’s amazing what’s on the internet. I had the same thing happen but in person two days ago. I have a mildly built Samurai for sale for $3,500. It is an unusually straight body with zero rust. The only rust is some light surface rust...

Where was you raised? Where’d you go? Where you at now?

Born in Decatur, AL. Lived there through 3rd grade. Moved to Atlanta for 4th-8th grade, still have family there so we visit a lot. (We really lived in Marietta) Moved to Charlotte, NC for 9th-12th and my first year of community college at CPCC. Transferred to ECU in Greenville, NC for a little...

D.O.T beadlocks. What's everyone running? Best brand for the money?

Hutchinson double beadlocks are the way to go. They are a tad heavier but you never have to worry about them. We just swapped a JK from AEV beadlocks to Hutchinson after a bolt failure. It only takes loosing a couple bolts at street pressures to peel a ring back.

    Texas flooding

Dan, I had friends that left out from North Alabama yesterday headed to the eastern side of Houston. Luckily they carried a 100 gallon diesel tank with them because there were several places that were out just traveling their. They were being told that as of Thursday, it was a 3-4 hour drive...

    ATTENTION!

Awesome news! I thought is was going to be another BS post, I'm glad that I was wrong. A child is a gift from God. Life changing to say the least. Enjoy your family.

    Missing threads.

This is the real truth! Piper made a very tasteful thread about the evolution of his rig. He in no way shape or form bashed any builder along the way. There were several questionable fabrication choices made along the way that were pointed out by others. People grow and progress as...

    Youth Cone Dodging

Re: Mo, I have the kid and the parts to build one! We just need to hurry up and finish mine so we can start on it. I might even know of a place to build one if we can find some room! :rolf:

How long have you been wheeling

Around 18 years in rigs. 25 or so on dirt bikes and four wheelers. I started building in high school. Bolt-ons came from PJ and Kyle at 4wheel parts in Charlotte. Fabrication work was done by Andy Zuber at Carolina Rock Shop until I learned to do my own. That was 1999-or 2000. I'm 33 now.

Talk me out of being my own general contractor on a house build. Ready go!

I'm not being ugly but if you don't have a pretty good general knowledge of home construction, you will likely end up with a sub par product that cost just as much if not more. A drive by in the morning and late evening is not enough time on the job site unless you have really good, trusted sub...
