Sorry to hear that man. Glad I got to wheel with you. Ill never forget the day you tried to drive up the tree on the Alder Ext, Hill Climb.. dang near flipped it back wards. YOUR EYES GOT SO BIG. lol
GOOD TIMES :awesomework::beer:
This is what I put on my Tow rig. I love them.. Ive towed in to muddy fields snow they ride nice. seem to be lasting good and are fairly quiet on the road.. no complaints yet..
Ill bet you could cut the hell out of a thornbird ad might do ok off road.. (better than a at) but then it would ware out even faster on the pavement..
knowing this then its got to be easy to understand why today wee need more difficult more challenging trails as always.. with rigs growing and the sport evolving the trails need to change (for the better) with them..
I hate to break it to you... but their is and has been a width restriction at Elbe for years.. As far as I know all DNR trails are limited to 88'' the width of their bridges...
I understand how this could have been missed.. sence its posted right on the sign...at the trail head..
Dodge made 3 different 2500s in the 2nd gen area... a very light duty.. 8 lug dana 44 front and a slide off drum 8 lug 9.25 in the rear.. with 1/2 ton suspention these were v8 only trucks
A mid duty 60 front 60 or 70 rear lighter payload.. smaller spring pack..
these were a lot of v8 and v10...
Odie's 47s did good at Evans in like 4-5ft of snow a couple years ago... Bobby was on 42'' Iroks and I was on 42'' TSLs... and we got stopped.. And those 47s had to cut trail for us!!
Everything will break.. driving style has a lot to do with it... I know someone on bald 39'' Iroks with a 4.3l that destroyed a couple of inputs and a set of 30 spline longs!!! But you could see air underneath his rig before it landed!!!:beer::wtf:
I run 44s on my Toyota axles.. But I ve a wore out 20R! Ive had great luck with this setup... but wouldn't run them with a 4.3L and 4.7s
It is nice to have mondo diff clearance
