you are correct. he drove it from kelowna bc all the way down competed and drove home. the people at the magazine paid a guy 1500.00 to follow him home because they didnt believe that he didnt trailer it.
as for the cog the thing sits pretty low driving around town. its computer controlled...
even walkers set up was nothing like this. it wasnt the strongest ifs ever nor did it work all that good. he said himself that he wasnt too sure about it going into making it and decided that it wasnt worth the time and effort it would take to make it work. hence the straight axle.
actually david guidry said that he wasnt sure if it was going to be possible because of a piece of equipment that he needed. but last week he was able to get it so the first quarter of next year they will be rolling out of their plant
i bought one from a guy off of JU and paid 400. i know walt and verns was selling ones for anywhere from 500 to 800 depending on the year it came out of and the gears
