Torq 14 bolt rear axle questions

Thanks for the info. This particular axle was under a buggy I was considering buying, but it was out west and sold local before I could get my act together on it.

Torq 14 bolt rear axle questions

Anyone have any experience with the Torq 14 bolt rear axle? Yea, yea...they screwed Doug over. I am not trying to re-hash that shitshow. Curious if anyone has dealt with Torq recently, are they still in business? Anyone have one of their axles, purchased new 3rd members, etc? I am not...

    What makes a good trail?

That looks just like a trail at Rausch Creek, forget the name but something like Rock Garden Creek, or Rock Creek. It sucked the big one, it just wasn't compelling or fun at all.

    6L80 Tap shift issue

Yes, using the Winters shifter with the RADesgins tap shift wiring. I love it. I had the speartech module on a momentary "up/down" switch and didn't like it. The Speartech module worked correctly, but the switch was cumersome

    6L80 Tap shift issue

The tuner said tap shift was not working prior to any tune work. Update to the original post.... Trans tune requires that you set a range(where the transmission is shifted) for Tap Shift to work. In my tune is was set at D5. D6 is auto mode, pull the shifter down on slot into D5 and that...

    Custom PRP seat garbage

A buddy of of mine just got a set of PRP's a week or so ago and just from the pictures I noticed stitching issues at the holes for the shoulder harnesses. For the money these cost, and I'm not busting on you for spending on seats...I like nice comfortable seats too, you should expect better...

    6L80 Tap shift issue

2004 LJ, LY6 with 6L80 trans I originally used a Speartech module for tap shift on a switch, worked fine. Swapped to a Winters Shifter with RADesigns tap shift connectors/resisters about 3 years ago and it has always worked fine. Worked great actually, it is the only way I wheeled...always in...

    Harnesses?

They haven't improved IMO. I have the corbeau cam lock and the cam is all loose and janky. Not happy with it. 2 buddies with the same belts...same issues.

    Air bag leveling kit???

Re: Air bag leveling kit? The instructions on my AirLift airbags said to leave around 10 PSI in the bags rather than deflating all the way.
