Torq 14 bolt rear axle questions

I seriously doubt any part of that Mason third member has anything to do with a 14 bolt. Top TT teams are using Mason, Tubeworks and Gearworks. The 9/10 and 14 bolt ring and pinion set up is the same design. Short pinion with 3 bearings. Yes a 14 bolt has a larger ring gear but you cannot...

Torq 14 bolt rear axle questions

I'd say that is debatable. The 14 bolt is popular bc in it's OEM form, the diff is strong and the housing itself is strong. The 9" differential and aftermarket 10" option is strong but the factory housing in the off-road world is weak. So for an economical tough factory platform, the 14 bolt is...

    Coilover rates

Lots of factors that go into coil springs. Amount of weight in the rear, meaning seat? cooler? tools? fuel cell? etc. Also shock angle (if its' a coil over).

    Dirty Turtle For Sale/Sell/Sail/Cell

The park is closing. Unless someone buys it and re-opens, it's closed. Current owner had Will running it and Will and his family are moving.

Question for those with CTM/Yukon joints

I don't understand why anyone building anything like we are discussing would even care about a warranty past manufacturer defects. We're literally taking these rigs and smashing them into rocks with 43" tires, v8 engines, etc. Something is going to break at some point along the way, it's just...

Question for those with CTM/Yukon joints

Gotta have C's and knuckles to fit them. Reid based their super 60 stuff off of 05+ 250/350 C's and knuckles. Which are made to work with 1550. Yes big bell RCV stuff fits but it's tight! Spidertrax been built around 1480 for years. You don't want to build parts people aren't sure if they can...

    Trailing arm bushing material

It's a pretty common method to control trailing arm rotation. You're talking about 4 degrees of rotation max in most set ups. But sounds like this isn't the issue he's trying to address after all.

    Trailing arm bushing material

Why not put delrin on either side of shock eyes on the trailing arms to go along with the delrin on either side of the trailing arm bushing? A lot of guys use this set up or a variation.

    Custom PRP seat garbage

Justin @PRPSeats THANK YOU for chiming in. I had a pair of podiums in my personal buggy for years. Raced with them and trail rode. Literally so comfortable my wife would fall asleep trail riding. PRP has been the best seats available for years IMO. Glad to see you jumping in here and fixing...

    Rebuild ProFender Air Bumps?

I can work on them. Normally, $50 each plus seal kits. Any other necessary parts would be extra. I'd have to check on seal kit pricing.

    Racing on the rocks

LOL, my point is, it's not that easy to do. Also, I think you have to remember, there are listeners out there that are newbie's. So you can't constantly be talking over a listeners heads. I look at it like what I feel like Ian Johnson did/ does a great job of. Are some of his episodes boring to...

    Racing on the rocks

I agree, that was a tough one. Cade was driving to a race and the sound was pretty rough at times. Over all, I enjoy the content and most of the folks Jesse has on the show. Let me know when you get your wife's pod cast off the ground.

    Father's day sales?

With new laws, everyone should be charged sales tax regardless. But I'm sure not everyone is going by that.

    Father's day sales?

I'm not saying one is drastically better than the other. I'm saying there are differences. IMO radflo is a better company to work with at this point in time. Fox has nice products but getting parts can be a struggle for the common man at times.
