Absolutely.... A unbalanced tire/wheel creates ALOT of extra heat from the bouncing/flexing... You may not be able to 'see' the bounce/flex, but you should feel it, and the tires DEFINITELY feel it...

Ya know, with all the volunteer time put in, it shouldn't be an issue of paying for 2 passes...I, for the FIRST time since the Disco pass requirement, sent in my voucher hours...in approx 1 week, a pass showed up! I need to go through my turbo, and I DEFINITELY have leaky up pipes... i can see soot...And ALOT of it! :redneck::eeek:

Also, check the harness between the ICP, AND the FICM, for schaffing....could be a simple case of bad wiring.

The ICP connectors are also known for broken wires right at the sensor connector. Have you replaced the ICP yet? Have you checked for sensor power, signal return ,and ground integrity?

Buddy has an 04 Excursion (not sure of birthday), and his ICP was under the turbo...

The other possibility is maybe the parking brake switch is coming on due to the pedal "relaxing" and triggering the switch to turn on the brake light. I have seen that as well...

Yep, or they shear the woodruff key on the gear, and they go horribly out of time...At least I recall some of the 12V pumps doing this. This would be the easiest/cheapest of possibilities, as long as the gear wasn't damaged...

Except that anytime you run the defrost mode, aka A/C in "mixed" (floor/defrost) mode, you will have the heaters for your mirrors on! Kinda contradictory ain't it? :haha:

You can install a little switch in the power wdo master switch, to operate a relay under the dash, then out to the heaters... We use them at work for our minbuses heated mirrors...They are like this...
