So my Hardrock is a size Large. If you go to Specialized's website and fine the Hardrock in the mountain section then go to Geometry and you will see all the specs for the size Large. I got an few year old Specialized Hard Rock that I don't use anymore... Its in almost new shape, disk brakes, tires are great. Its the LE model with the flame paintjob they only made for 1 year.

I think my plan for the tire issue is to get a DOT trials tire for the rear since I kinda want to try one anyway and then the cheapest DOT front tire I can find. That way Im only out 40 bucks or so.

Cant go wrong with 300 or the 350. I kinda like the 350 also cause I want to plate my bike and it would make life a bit simpler being able to fill it up at the pump. I love the 2 stroke in the woods tho. It was tough for me to chose since I have always owned 4 strokers.
