Yup, that's what I use as well. Works great! Mine came with a quick disconnect plug that bolts to the battery. Easy peezy.

93 v6 pickup calipers? Sounds like you still have air in your lines. The v6 calipers have four large pistons. Also, yes you should upgrade the master to the 1" bore one and throw on the dual diaphragm booster. Easy bolt on upgrades.

Picks might help. On my gauge the O2 and power wires all went to the gauge. The black and red were ground/power and then accessory wires to run to a serial port for computer data logging. Do the wires have plugs on them?
