    Help upgrading my old Toyota

As the first post stated it looks like a street driven truck that he wants to wheel. He wants street friendly mods. My opinion, 1. ARB or detroit 2. 4.56 gears, they work great on my 35's. Keeps the cruise rpm's on the highway under 3K rpm's. 3. Rebuild the front axle and inspect those birfs...

    After market coils

Has anyone put an accell or MSD coil on their 22R? I am sure someone has. I was looking at it last night and thought it would work but which wires would I use? Is there a wiring diagram posted somewhere that I missed with my search? Sort of thinking out loud more than anything I guess.

    Load compensator(?) deletion help

Yep, off to Tacoma screw at lunch :awesomework: Yeah, I got lucky and it popped right up. It wasn't titled for the compensator but the info was there all the same. I even bumped it up so others could find it again. It is going to be so nice to have discs back there. I also installed an...

    Load compensator(?) deletion help

Never mind. Father, forgive me for I have sinned. I asked before I searched. Thanks again the Chop for the instruction from the other toyota brake thread. Deleting the second line solves the whole problem.

    yota brakes

Thanks Chop! Also note, that when the rod is removed the valve will not flow fluid. It has nothing to do with clogged lines or anything else. It just has a fail-safe and will not flow fluid.

    Load compensator(?) deletion help

Has anyone replaced/deleted the braking valve for the rear axle that compensates for increases in load weight for the rear brakes? I have swapped in an Isuzu axle in the rear of my '84 toyota and no longer want or need it. What have others used to delete it? I am having a real hard time finding...

4 threads... it held 60 ft-lbs but wouldn't do 70 ft-lbs. That is why we realized there was a problem. I will know Tuesday night if this solves the problem.
