    Never ending Samurai build...

That's good to hear. I was hoping to get away with stock gears in both.

Are both cases stock gearing? Do you think it’s enough?

    Just a simple Sami buggy

I have one of these in my sammy. It's nice not to have to run wheel spacers.

Got it. That 2.0 is gonna be nice

    Just a simple Sami buggy

This thing is cool. Just out of curiosity why bother with the Samurai tub at all?

I was hoping to keep it light that’s why I was trying to stay with 1 case. Plus going with the tracker case would just simply everything and I’ll have one if I get a donor rig. Are you running 5.29 axles?

    Never ending Samurai build...

I was thinking about using the tracker/vitara transfer case instead of the samurai but I think I would want more than the 4.24 gears they offer for them.

Are you running a 6.5/1 transfer case? Do you feel like you need that low of gearing with the 2.0?

Are there 4 speed trans to avoid? I’m guessing you still need a 4x4 transmission due to the length?

Yeah I've had it for about 4 years now. I've changed the front suspension and axle but it still looks like the popsicle. It's a solid rig but I'm about ready for something else.

Thanks for the info. It would probably be in a buggy, I'm not really interested in changing the Popsicle up.

That’s kind of what I was hoping for. I’m thinking I want the 2.0 and 4 speed like you have. Is the 2.0 much larger than the 1.6? I’ve tried finding pics of them side by side but had no luck.

How are you liking the 4 speed trans? Was it worth the upgrade? Pros and Cons of each of the autos? I'm kind of tired of running 3 pedals so I'm looking for some real world experience.

Air Dryer for Plasma Cutter Advice???

Putting an inline desiccant near the unit is probably going to be the most cost effective way to get dry air. Don't forget to look at the plumbing of the system as a whole. Make sure you are pulling air from the top of the header or tank. Well placed auto drains and drip legs will definitely help.

Have you thought about a soft shackle? Instead of a metal one or a hook?

I like that. Mine needs this done to it

Do we have a welding thread on here?

I'm thinking about that one too although the new 215 multi process machine has my eye too.

Why stick with the carbs? I have a pair of Weber side drafts on my tin tip. It was a nice improvement over the stock 1.3 carb but it think I'd rather have efi.

    Samurai leaf spring tech

Thanks. Don't do 4" yj's. They ride like crap

    Samurai leaf spring tech

If I wasn't gonna link one I'd run stock yj's. That's when my tin top was the most fun and was plenty capable. I ran 33 boggers on stock axles.
