    Mission BC, 4-19/20-11

I finaly got to get out and see what all the BC fuss was about. The area is limitless and the Canadians are putting in some kick ass trails. The weather was great and the locals were friendly. Unfortunately I only got a few pics and as usual they never do any justice. Tom Getting over an...

What to do about a trail at Walker.

Interesting, I dont think that specific point was discussed in the other thread. The way you describe it is that this trail is high use for everyone and provides critical access to other trails. Could part of the long term solution be another trail providing additional access to the same area...

What to do about a trail at Walker.

Has anyone suggested closing it till it's finished? It would annoy the crap out of me if people started using something I was in the middle of working on.

    Rig Requirements for the Hammers?

I'd say the biggest thing is to make sure the rig is seasoned, well maintaned and have a good fix it, limp it kit. Most the trails are further than you'd want to walk back to camp and not likely to get a rig back out unless it's under it's own power. Also have a good bag with emergency...

How many ran Issabelle this weekend?

Not altogether getting out of wheeling, just getting back to the roots of it. I've got an 85 toyota with 2" lift, 31's, open diffs and straight body. Izzy to the log bridge would be a great trail for my rig. Guess I'll go wheel where everything is still a challenge and avoid spending loads of...
