A group of us are thinking about heading up there for our 1st time there. 8 rigs, all jeeps. I know some of them wanted to head over the mountain to liberty but not sure its open yet, does anybody know if the trails are open? Hopefully we make it to reiter for our first try at it.

Trying to find out if the trails over in liberty ate open yet? Tried the forest service and the ranger station but its impossible to talk to anybody. If anybody knows or has info it would be greatly appreciated. Have a group of about 8 rigs heading over,hopefully!

Just got back from 8 days of wheeling liberty, very nice trip up until Saturday, when a a buddy with not a whole lot of experience showed up, but a set up rig rolled 3 times off the last hillclimb on the guard station trail. Seat belt broke in half and ended up pinned against passenger door...

Large group of us (6-10) headed to liberty for labor day, looks like the 27th-3rd. Mostly older cj's and maybe an fj. I'll be in a orange cj7 on propane.

Was a good trip, had 97 rigs register. Started out as a parking lot on the trail. There was a bronco that had a bad starter and blocked the trail. After that it was all wheeling until the bronco stalled and lost its brakes at the top of a hillclimb, rolled down the hill and flew off the trail...

I'm thinking about going up Friday night and camping out somewhere.

It's on the 10th, west to east and back,, staging area is up fs70 at pyramid creek parking area and running the wagon trail. Yes, it should be crowde

Liberty was absolutely a blast this year. Rained on and off which kept the dust away, and the trails were a slip and slide. :beer:

Just got off the phone with the ranger service, liberty will be open this weekend :DANCE: We already have a group of 4 that just got into the campground and people already have tents put up around trying to reserve spots. Looks like it may be a busy weekend over there this year.

I stopped at the cle elum ranger station this last Monday and they said high probability of liberty being open. They said down low it's already dry and snow less, but said you get up high and it's a wall of snow. But the heat will take of that pretty quickly I hope.

Been trying to reach my buddy's that are still there, very spotty reception. My mom left after me and apperently it was part of a group next to us. Up on the stair steps, but not sure. And i thought the upper table mountain trails were closed still, Theres cliffs up there like at the memorial...

Just got back from liberty and just found out that someone went off the side of trail and was not good!!! Helicopter was at the field and all kinds of medics racing thru town.

Our group goes to liberty every year for the holiday week. Last year they didnt open till saturday. Last year was the deadest ive ever seen as far as campers/ rigs. Probably because it was up in the air if it was gonna be open. The field was damn near empty. We're planning on heading over 21st...
