Agree with Toby. Very rough road up with one Creek crossing. Be very careful camping in the dry grass Meadows. Might not be a bad idea to take a weed eater.

Hereford Meadows up by quartz Mt is nice. Campsite right by the creek. Also the landing by the intersection of the upper Janet /quartz/shoestring offers epic views on a clear night.

Not true. They grade it every spring right up to the ark gate ( Rainier)

Annual spring work party at Evans Creek. May 14-15. Come help get the trails and campground into shape for the summer. We also need to repair the damage done over the winter at the entrance to the park.

The county usually grades the road each spring up to the gate into the park. It's a county hwy to that point. The FS is responsible for the road from the county Rd to the campground. They have in the past graded the road when needed.

Great rant but missed the target. The true enemy is Congress and the greeies that control them with their money.

It's not the FS it's the tribes and the department of fish and wildlfe. They hold all of the cards when it comes to water
