    wraith questions/problems

Many people are very happy with that Flysky radio, if you ever need extra channels for accessories like lights or winch theres a guy on rccrawler.com who makes a hack kit. IIRC the hack kit gets you like 8 channels and some other functions, there are alot of people who are using the hack...

LiPo cut off for Losi MRC esc

That's why I usually run 3 cell, its like the happy medium and still plenty of power

LiPo cut off for Losi MRC esc

Brad is right, going with the 3 volts per cell rule is kind of risky, I have my lipo cutoff set at 3.4v per cell just to be safe. I've over discharged a few packs before from leaving the truck on after.hitting the lipo cutoff, some say it will decrease the life of the pack by discharging it too...

LiPo cut off for Losi MRC esc

I wouldnt trust a charger like that, I like to be able to visually see.the voltage, current and how much mah the battery is taking in each charge. If u have a volt meter try checking the voltage after a charge to see if its getting charged.are the batteries swelling up or do they just stop...

LiPo cut off for Losi MRC esc

The micro sidewinder is.basically the same as the micro pro besides without.the casing.and heat sink, that's why the micro pro can handle little more power. If u have gone thru 3 Lipos u have something going on, should be an easy fix. Lipos don't like to be charged at a high current, don't...

LiPo cut off for Losi MRC esc

Ditch the stock speed control and go to either a castle creations mamba micro pro or a novak Mongoose brushless setup. I run the mamba micro pro with a losi insane 370, it has great low end control and tons of wheel speed. I don't personally care for.novak products which is why I didn't go with...

    wraith questions/problems

Awesome man, save up for a nice brushless setup you will love the power. Not sure if ur just running 2 cell Lipos (7.4v) now but if u do end up going to a nice brushless setup u could bump up to 3 cell (11.1v) for even more power, or if u feel like breakin **** go to 4 cell lol:redneck:

    wraith questions/problems

U might of fried the esc when it was submerged in the water, the problem may not be with the motor. U can hook up a battery directly to ur motor, if it spins then its typically fine. Now that I think of i,t I think I heard from some guys at one of our rc comps that the stock wraith motors burn...

    wraith questions/problems

Axials website does not claim for it to be waterproof and they say they vertically mount the esc (speed control) to keep debris and water off of it so your probably screwing up the esc. The receiver is in a waterproof box but it looks like the esc is out in the open. The brushed motor should be...

keep the losi night crawler or not?

The bec is used because the high torque servos draw too much current and can cause the esc to glitch without it or burn up the servo , it basically makes it so u get power directly from the battery rather than from the esc. The bec is essentially a voltage regulator, the castle creations 10 amp...

keep the losi night crawler or not?

If u already have the lnc u can buy the lcc tranny which will give u dig but u would need a diff radio with an extra channel to operate the dig. U can upgrade all the other parts to what comes on the lcc like the steering, links, etc.

keep the losi night crawler or not?

I agree with crash. If u want the most capable comp type truck moa is the way to go, berg based or xr10 but just like any truck fine tuning is required.

    Micro crawler

Imo that's too small unless u like driving on tiny pebbles lol. Personally I wouldn't go smaller than 1/18th scale Check out the losi mrc pro roller, if u add a novak Mongoose brushlesss setup and a decent servo u will have a good capable platform.

    Micro crawler

I personally like the 1/10th scales aka 2.2s, alot more capable and much more upgrades available. It really depends on how much u wanna spend amd what u wanna do with it. The mrc pro is also available, its 1/18th scale and is pretty inexpensive for a starter but does require all electronics...

What battery does a Losi MRC take?

First u would want to know what kind of speed control the truck has so u can figure out which type of batteries are compatible (lipo, nimh, nicd) and how much voltage they can handle. I probably wouldn't run more than 7.4 volts cause u will end up breaking stuff. Most people with crawlers run...

    Electronic help

What kind of esc?depending on the esc, u should have lights that change colors depending on throttle position, see if they change colors when u apply throttle and whatnot. Most of the speed controllers I've seen use those lights for diagnosing as well, for instance castle escs have diff. Colors...

    Electronic help

Were you in a bind when the crawler started smoking? Sometimes the brushes can hang up in the motors and if you continue to give it throttle it can blow some smoke or if your in too big of a bind and continue to deliver throttle you could smoke the motor or ESC. You can take a double A battery...

Input on a cheap starter crawler

X2 on the MRC. The MRC Pro Roller is a comp ready kit basically without electronics, u could get a mamba micro pro & insane 370 for prob around 80 and then the hitec 645 servo for I think like 35, this would be a great starter rig

    sexy buggy build!!

X2 try an external castle bec, bet the problem would go away.
