So I more or less just finished this thing. I redid nearly the entire buggy. It started life as an '09 Jimmy Smith buggy....It was getting dated and needed updated/upgraded. Everything has either been gone through, or is new. It'll be a couple days before its ready from upgrading the tranny....I just gotta bolt it back together.
Specs:
Chassis is 1.75" DOM and REW mix. Lower part of the buggy is .188 wall. The rest is .120 wall. It has a lot of gussets and reinforcements to be very strong. When I redid it, everywhere I joined a tube has 1.5" .120 wall slugs welded in and then welded again around the 1.75" tube. My wife rides with me all the time...I built it to keep her safe....I prolly overdone a lot of it. ;D

New Detroit, Yukon 35 spline chromo axles and 4.10 gears done by EOR. Disc Brakes.
Bilstein 9100 Series remote resivoir coilovers. 14" front. 16" rear
BeCool radiator and fan. Buggy runs really cool. (best radiator on the market in my opinion) Fluid is hard piped under buggy, not through chassis.
11 gallon custom aluminum fuel cell. Inline pump and filter. Mallory regulator.
Lower links: 1-3/4 x .500 wall DOM
Upper links are 1-3/4 x .375 wall DOM
Lower links: have 1in. x 1.25in heims
Uppers are 7/8in.
Spare drive shaft.
Two piece front with pillow block.
New skins. They're "dipped" using hydro transfer and clear coated.
Cut 43 in Super Swamper TSL SX (non sticky) H1 bead locks. 80-90% tread.
New Corbeau Clubman seats.
New Corbeau Cam-Lock harnesses and pads.
New Auto meter gauges. Electric water. Manual Oil.
Optima yellow top battery.
Warn M8000 with Blue Synthetic rope.
Chassis was painted gloss black with enamel paint.
Like I said....It's basically a new build. It could use some more shock tuning. Jimmy at EOR can hook you up....It has new springs from him. The engine cover needs modified to fit lower....It sticks up too high from the old truck engine that was in it. Just look better lower. I don't even put it on. To be 100% right it needs dyno tuned....It will "load up" like you see a lot of other buggies do. Couple good throttle blips, runs fine. Lane Culver has a dyno and will do it for $275. I just haven't had time to get it done. Other than that...She's a beast. The 4.3 Atlas and 4.10 gears are an awesome combo. It pulls hard and is pretty fast...Be a great racer for SRRS.
I'm 5'11 and weigh 215. You can see in the pics below how much head room I have. It will fit a bigger person.
$34,500 OBO
I will take a check as long as we can go to the bank and verify funds before you leave with it.
Comment or PM please. I'll be happy to give you my number and talk to you. (We work 12 swing shift and sleep during the day.)
For the lurkers.... email: [email protected] (please put something in the subject line about the buggy in case it goes in my spam folder.)
I am located in Hatton/Town Creek area. 35672 will get you an idea.
Reason for selling: I get to ride once a month if I'm lucky. I think I'm just gonna ride the Wildcat for a while. I've got a lot of money tied up in two rides I rarely get to use. So....Please no trade offers for another side by side.
Close up of skins....
Pic of tranny after Ed/PTC got done with it....
