How did he do those rockers? Weld up a tube to the outside of a 2x4 then plate the top?

yep, they were already on there when I got the rig, I think it's 1 1/2" flat
 
still making progress on this thing, still lots of little stuff to do but getting closer

got the front bumps plated in and started on the winch plate


moved the radiator to the rear, still need to finish running the water lines
 
Man I love the lines of the backhalf. Keeping lines that still look like a truck bed looks way better than the truggy's that are just sort of rounded off on the back like the ass end of a bouncer buggy.

finished winch mount



added these strips up the windshield, hopefully help from beating them in to bad


it's getn close, still need to finish up a few things.
mount rear limit straps
finsh running brake/hydro and water lines
driveshafts
wire everything
paint
