You guys really have to watch trying to build the front 14 bolts to accept the Dana 60 length shafts. The pinion off sets in a 14 bolt is a lot different than in a 60. We build a lot of these axles here. The best way to do it is get the 14 bolt housing re-tubed and then set it under your rig . Get the pinion setting where you want it side to side. Then cut off the excess tube and install your knuckles. We have come up with a standard off set that we use for passenger drop and drivers drop axles that works in most every case. There are always exceptions though. But don't go down the road of trying to save the axles out of the 60 unless you have done your home work and made sure it will fit in you rig. The worst thing in the world is to spend all that money and put it together on the bench and it won't fit where you need it to. I've seen that happen. My suggestion is to sell your front axle complete and start from scratch. Unless you plan on completely butchering off every part you can to build the 14 bolt. If you can do the work your self it will save you a lot of money. But, in the end I think that you may have to get new inners made. The Crane seals are the easiest and cheapest way to seal the front axle. If you need any help feel free to call the shop or message us on here .
