Anyone ever use a newer hub seal off a 10.5/11.5 gm 14 bolt? timken part # SL260002 Reason I'm asking is I've got an older 14 bolt and the spindles are meh at best. Bearing surfaces are ok but the flat where the seal rides is pitted. I thought about using a speedi sleeve but they're $50 a pop. The newer seals are supposedly a two piece design that seats on the hub and the spindle. Thus the seal wouldn't contact the rough spot on the axle I guess it would ride in itself? Any more info on this or anyone that's tried it? Thanks in advance Scott' /i\
