Re: 1968 Dodge D200 Tow rig/Daily driver Project *PICS Updated) Tapatalk is acting up on me and will let me look at any thread except one i have started. As soon as it is fixed ill post a few pictures. -All of the 4th gen factory seat belts are mounted front and rear -Rear seat mounted -Tail lights came in and mocking up for them -Bed floor is being made. (local guy fell through after 2 months of waiting, new floor will be here in 3 weeks) -This truck has some of the biggest Factory Booger welds that ive ever seen. Working on grinding those down and getting the inside cab and door openings ready for paint. - Inside cab and door openings will get one more final coat of primer tomorrow and one more final sanding next week and will be ready to paint. -Next week doors will go back on and will start the process of flat blocking and priming the outside 8-10 more times. Still a long ways a way and Collision work has been crazy busy ( Thank the Good Lord Above) so not a ton of free time to work on it. Right now, working on it in between collisions. Mainly just a lot of sand paper and a lot of dust dealing with fixing all of the factory imperfections. Eventually just going to have to draw the line somewhere and live with it. I literally could work for a year fixing factory seams and welds to make them look nicer. It is still moving forward which is the main thing for a project this size. -Still have to relocate the batteries, transmission cooler, and AC condenser under the cab. -Wiring for power windows/locks, headlights, marker lights, tail lights -Bed Floor when it comes in Once the body is ready for paint i will either have to find someone or figure out installing the Superduty front axle/steering and coilover suspension up front. Not a suspension guy but may can figure it out with a little help.
