1981 corvette gets a shiny new motor!

My 383 Stroker motor I had in my vette pulled out a rocker arm stud and ate the cam and lifter... Rather than rebuilding, it was easier to just buy a dressed long block... And upgrade to MORE POWER!

So, dropped in a 510 hp 383 stroker, full aluminum brackets and hardware, aluminum heads, aluminum air gap intake, holly 750, new distributor and wires... All the goodies! Here's a time lapse of the drop in.

I miss my El Camino that had a 383 stroker.
