My aunt bought this in the early 90s and they never used it too much. I remember riding it as a kid. Was up visiting family the other day and remembered it. My wife has always joked about her having a scooter so I thought what the heck! Went and dug it out of the barn. Also found a TINY crotch rocket looking gas powered thing that hasn't been used in about 10 years also. Gave my aunt $50 for both and headed back to Auburn. The Honda hasn't been touched in 15+ years. Brought it home, changed plug, air filter, gas, oil, and a battery. A few shots of starter fluid and she purred like a kitten! Not bad for sitting for 15 years.

Not bad for hauling me at 205lbs

After bombing it around the yard for a week or so, we decided to tear it down and start painting. Removed all the stickers, sanded it down, primed, and started spraying. This is where we are with it now.

Painted the gray parts today but didn't take any pictures. Put it back together and done! Now I need a taillight lens and rear right blinker lens.

HAHAHA YES! I have an 87 model, same **** and about the same kind of damn story! My dad bought this jewel at an insurance auction in area of 1988-1990, sold it to the neighbors who has grandkids my age, we grew up riding and wrecking this thing alot, then it went into storage when we out grew it. Sat in storage caked with dust and cobwebs for about 10 years, I bought it for $100 (Brock got a better deal in his molaugh), dad and I went over it cleaning everything up got it running, it ran for about a week then locked up. Dad took the engine apart, carried head to machine shop to get bored out, bought new honda piston/ring kit, put it back together and it's been running like a champ for about 4 years now.

Top is my sister, bottom chick is HAWT drool....she rode with me at Gray Rock for Fall For All this year. Notice the carbon fiber look tank protector on the bottom of the front plastic peice haha even says Honda on it

Mine is specifically used for beer drinking shenanigans around my neighborhood. I know the local po-po so they don't fawk with me and got several neighbors I know well within a mile or two from my house, so it's gets broke out on summer nights with my soft cooler slung over my back molaugh :drinkers:

Will me and you still be buddys if i have a 3 sum with your sister and girlfriend?

yeah you think that is fast need to find the honda elite 150 or 250, they are bad ass.. I picked one up and it goes 60 all day long... and it has a radio in also.. rare option for a 86...

It's the dorkiness of a 50 that makes em cool 8) Real speed and badass comes from a 1000cc literbike that will do 90 mph in first gear with 5 more left to grab, but that's comparing apples to oranges.

People see you on a 50cc moped and they think haha that's funny **** right there......people see you on a moped that will keep up with traffic and they're like wow, he really thinks he's cool...what a douche. molaugh
